Amazing Lifestyle & Family Portrait Photographer in Zurich
" Family photos are a priority every few years and I decided to book Hong Fischer Photography based on her portfolio of work and unique style. Zurich is such a captivating and charming city I wanted a collection of photos of all the sights, but with ALL of us in them. How many times is someone left out because they are the ones taking the actual photo on your phone? And it's usually the mom!
I booked at least 2 months in advance and as the date approached the forecast was rain rain rain! Hong was flexible and rescheduled us for the following morning. 8am would not be my first choice but it was necessary to capture the beautiful sights of Zurich without the crowds. So worth it!
We met at the Opera House and those might be my favorite shots, but then we went to the waterside and those might be my favorite shots! We went to so many unique locations providing the perfect angle and backdrop that I would not have found on my own.
She has a keen eye for layout, proportion and color. She was so friendly and we were all so relaxed and comfortable. You can tell she really enjoys taking photos. We received so many choices in the original album it was almost impossible to choose the ones we wanted her to edit. In all honesty, I didn't even think they needed any editing they were so good to begin with. We did some formal posed shots and some relaxed family shots walking around as well as individuals of each one of us, and some very romantic ones of me and my husband, which honestly, we haven't done since our wedding almost 25 years ago.
I know everyone is always so busy on vacation trying to see and do as many things as possible but I am so pleased we set aside two hours to invest our time with with Hong Fischer because she has given us memories we can treasure forever. I really was hopeful to get at least ONE picture to use for our annual Christmas card, but now my whole house is going to be decorated with so many of the photos she took.
The best part was the multiple locations, it was like a mini walking tour of Zurich and it gave us so much variety in the final album. Seriously, as you are making your vacation plans, carve out time for this incredibly talented lady. Whether you are traveling for work, or as a couple or a whole family she will without a doubt deliver photos that will take your breath away!"

I booked the photographer sessions for my wedding very urgent (1 week before the date). Since it was my first time doing a photography thing, I was super nervous and did have various questions and requests. Hong passionately helped me out with those, she nicely advised me and calmed me down.
On the day of the wedding, she came earlier to make sure everything is set. We started our session, what can I tell you is, Hong has such a great sense in capturing the moment. If you do not know how to pose, she will help you out. If you have an idea but do not know how to create, she will handle it. She was not stressing out but calmly.
After all, the pictures Hong took seem to have their own SOULS & VOICES! Very unique and extremely lively. As we look at the pictures, we can definitely remember and feel how happy we were at that moment.
