Carlos proposed to his girlfriend on a rainy day in Zurich, and being there as their photographer felt incredibly special.


I waited at the spot for them to arrive — honestly, I think I was even more nervous than Carlos.


Hearing that they’ve been together for more than 10 years made me pause behind the camera. I can still picture Jennifer’s tears and hear her saying, “I’m getting old!” — a mix of laughter, relief, and pure emotion. It touched me deeply, because I know what it feels like when a woman loves her partner so much and patiently waits for the day they finally become a family.


And then there was Jennifer’s mother — the one who planned everything with Carlos, quietly standing behind them, witnessing her daughter’s big moment with so much happiness in her eyes.


This was the moment they had all been waiting for!
