This proposal took place in mid of September, during the morning golden light in the Swiss Alps. Tao had planned the moment carefully and wanted a quiet location overlooking Lauterbrunnen Valley from Wengen.


About a month before the date, Tao contacted me to share his idea. I went to Wengen to scout possible viewpoints and spent around two hours walking through roads I hadn’t taken before. That’s when I found this spot — a small, hidden viewpoint that offered a clear and open view of the valley.


On the day of the proposal, at 9:00 a.m., I arrived while Tao and Angelina were setting up their tripod for a video. I approached as a tourist, took a few landscape photos, and asked if they wanted a quick picture together with my camera. A few seconds later, Tao went down on one knee. The proposal happened naturally, quietly, and exactly as he had planned.


The morning with Tao and Angelina was unforgettable: full of emotion, excitement, and warm laughter.
