There’s something incredibly powerful about photographing a mother-to-be, especially when she is surrounded by so much love.

On a sunny morning in Zurich, I had the honour of photographing a beautiful couple from Brazil who weren’t just expecting a baby; they radiated connection, joy and quiet care for each other.

She radiated happiness while he embraced her with such care and admiration. Every look and gesture between them spoke of their deep love and excitement for their little one on the way.

They didn’t try to ‘perform’ for the camera. They simply showed up as themselves, full of love, and allowed me to be there to witness it.

As a photographer, I live for moments like these. Not staged, not forced — just real emotions unfolding in front of my lens. Being trusted to preserve such an intimate chapter is a gift that I never take for granted.
