Alisa told me she wanted photographs that keep her happiest moments in frame — so that every time she looks back, she sees how beautiful she was.


After having her son, she started living more fully. Loving herself more. Making more time for the things that light her up. I had to sit with that for a second — because how? How does that happen? I thought that if I ever have children, I’m not even sure I’ll manage to wash my face twice a day.


But then I watched her move through that evening. Barefoot in the flowers. That smile. That ease. That energy that just radiates from somewhere deep.


And I thought — oh. That’s how.


It’s not about having more time. It’s about deciding you matter. And when you do that — when you really listen to yourself, when you actually pamper that part of you that needs tending — everyone around you feels it. Your child feels it. The camera feels it. I felt it.


Alisa changed something in my mind that evening!
