Every spring, Zurich comes alive with color, tradition, and joy — and Sechseläuten is the heart of it all.

From the echo of drums and brass bands to the elegant costumes and proud flags, the city feels like it’s breathing history. Locals and visitors gather to celebrate the end of winter, cheering as the Böögg burns and the air fills with music and laughter.

It’s one of those days that remind you how alive Zurich truly is — a city that honors its roots while celebrating the warmth of community.
